Is there a way to crochet a Granny square, but with the seam in the corner instead of in the middle of a side?
Yes! The result is way more discreet and so much cleaner. It makes a huge difference. I’ll let you see for yourself, just watch the video below to learn more! Written instructions will follow.
*The video is in french but english subtitles were added for you!

1. In a magic circle: ch3, 2dc, ch2, [3dc, ch2] 3 times. Slst on top of the beginning ch3.
2. Ch3 (counts as 1dc), 2dc in the last corner from previous round. In the next 3 corners: [3dc, ch2, 3dc]. In the first corner: 3dc, ch2. Slst on top of the beginning ch3.
3. Ch3 (counts as 1dc), 2dc in the last corner from previous round. *3dc between each 3dc clusters. In the corner: [3dc, ch2, 3dc]. Repeat from * until you reach the first corner from the beginning of the round. In that corner: 3dc, ch2. Slst on top of the beginning ch3.
Repeat round 3 as often as necessary until you have the desired amout of rounds.
